Subject: SBAR Panel for Residential Wood Heaters Rule

    Dear Mr. Cristofaro:

The Office of Advocacy (Advocacy) has received electronically on May 19, 2010 your formal notification regarding the Small Business Advocacy Review Panel (Panel) for the forthcoming regulatory proposal, “New Source Performance Standards: Residential Wood Heaters.” Advocacy generally concurs with the preliminary list of Small Entity Representatives (SERs) that EPA has identified for the Panel process, with the following suggested addition:

Mr. Bryan Light, Master Mason (As a SER or “Helper” SER)
    Brick Industry Association
    770-760-0728
    blight@bia.org
(Mr. Light is an expert in residential masonry fireplace design and construction).

We understand that EPA would like to begin pre-Panel activities in June 2010, which will fit with our schedule.

We look forward to working with you through this process.

    Sincerely,

    /s/ ____________
