Arthur Woods
Young Entrepreneur & CEO of Mission Three

A student at Georgetown University, Arthur Woods felt inspired to start a company based on his personal values and ethics. In early 2007, Woods founded Mission Three www.missionthree.com (M3), a company based on the values of Health, Environment and Community, which focuses on fresh orchard delivery service to the students of Georgetown University. Mission Three serves a variety of local farmers by marketing, selling and delivering their products while offering consumers fresh, local items that are healthy. As a result of his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, Woods was asked to represent Georgetown at the 2007 Undergraduate Business School Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga.

Mission Three has allowed Woods to apply his education and serve his fellow students in the process. The company has seen great success in its first months of operations. Mission Three has also caught the attention of the Georgetown University administrators and the Organization of American States. The company was recently presented with the “2007 Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award” at the TIC America Business Competition in Panama.

In the future, Woods sees an opportunity to expand the product line and the involvement of many other university students. Woods hopes continue his involvement with entrepreneurial work that serves the community.
