Becky Brantley

Becky Brantley is the Disaster External Affairs Liaison for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance. Ms. Brantley provides assistance to the Associate Administrator for Disaster Assistance in developing and maintaining business relationships/partnerships with other organizations to enhance the delivery of the SBA’s disaster loan-making program.  She represents the Office of Disaster Assistance in dealings with other SBA non-disaster assistance offices, other Federal agencies (such as FEMA, DHS, IRS, HUD), state and local governmental offices, Congressional offices, universities and colleges and non-profit organizations.

Before her appointment, Ms. Brantley was a Senior Loan Officer responsible for administering, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating all SBA disaster loan-making programs. Prior to working in the SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance headquarters in 1993, Ms. Brantley was a loan officer in the SBA’s Fort Worth Disaster Area Office. Before joining SBA in 1992, Ms. Brantley was a commercial banker in Dallas, Texas, for 15 years and also owned and operated a small business.

Ms. Brantley earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Texas .
